What happens to my Toshiba Satellite?
I have a Toshiba Satellite A105 and I have Ubuntu and Windows XP installed on it. laptops been working very well with no problems whatsoever. Then I was in Ubuntu and decided to shut down the computer. so a couple of hours later had to return a This turned it on and nothing came on screen. was only black. I heard the computer boots and everything, but nothing comes on screen. its strange because I never had a single problem with the laptop before. I took the faceplate off the screen to see if maybe they had fried some wires or something weird, and everything seems perfect. Does anyone know what's new? Thanks Ive tried restarting it many times. and I got it on eBay, which has no warranty so thats nothing to worry about. WoW that was weird … just turned and suddenly your job again. So thanks to everyone for the advice, but I guess I just had to let it rest for a while.
working now?? or even condemned by the scrap yard! if I was, I would probably reset the BIOS, Case, for some reason the video settings has changed their place of AGP PCI / errrm on board and software / OS wise ~ ~> u can add an external monitor via the VGA port on the back of the computer UR laptop and boot troubleshooting ~ ~ ~ or maybe just shoot lol!:)
