Ham radio operators are blocking Internet through power lines. Everyone has the electricity comes into their homes and Internet service can ride the cable. However, it must emit a signal that a jam band including the frequencies they use Ham operators. They say they are there for communication in case of a disaster when the phone lines, go down, but come on. Its just a bunch of kids grown up playing with radios. Now we have satellite communications and more people use the Internet to the Armor Radio. Another Internet service would be good for competition with ADSL, wireless and dial-up. You can listen to ham radio with a band of several portable radio and all that do is talk. It's ridiculous. You must choose a phone. Tell your congressman to switch off. If nothing else the frequencies should be auctioned, as television frequencies age shall be.
